Well I've expanded upon Dan's idea of having a "Family Calender" by creating a blog. I don't really know how these things work, but what I have in mind is perhaps a private blog with everyone having some sort of administrative access. If anyone else has any suggestions.......POST THEM ON THE BLOG!!!! Anyway I'm off to customize this awesome blog.

I heartily agree madam, thats why I did it, the only hangup that i foresee is that mom will have to get a gmail login. That is where Daniel comes in. Dan you must get mom into this blog!!
Mom does have a Gmail log in. The problem is going to be getting her to understand what is going on, and how things work.
She is starting to understand the calendar. This should be very easy compared to that.
